Greetings to You in Jesus’ Great Name!
It’s a time of strategic transition at EN as we follow the Lamb’s leadership in this ministry. He is truly streamlining us into excellence and raising up powerful leaders to carry that which we are releasing.
I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Ask rain from the LORD at the time of the spring rain – The LORD who makes the storm clouds; And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man. Zechariah 10:1
This past April 9, 2016, Lou Engle and scores of other leaders merged together in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for The Call Azusa Now to celebrate the historic 110th anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival of Los Angeles.
“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
John 3:8 NASV
The global prayer movement is experiencing a transitional time in history. We are shifting from a petitioning approach to decreeing by faith that a true global awakening is now upon us for Jesus Christ’s sake. It is imperative that unbelief and the slumbering spirit of passivity that lingers upon the body of Christ be broken off so that we can arise into the fullness of our divine destiny.
The body of Christ, the nations of the earth, and the United States of America are currently at a tipping point. This is a strategic time when the scales of justice shift from one direction or point of view to another. At these critical moments, things change in a society or nation for good or for evil. One thing is for sure; they never remain the same.
Greetings to You in Jesus Great Name!
Observing the Seasons of Life
“There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven…” Ecclesiastes 3:1
It’s Time to Lock Our Shields in Prayer
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?”
Esther 4:14
Jesus did His first public miracle at the wedding of Canna of Galilee (see John 2:1-11). He took the ordinary and made it extraordinary. He took the natural and made it supernatural. He took a crisis and brought forth a solution. He made a potential mess into a message.
Do you remember the time before we had a plethora of digital devices instantly giving us the world’s knowledge right at our fingertips? We actually used to talk to one another instead of to devices. We relied on others to read and interpret oversized road maps to us for directions instead of a GPS telling us where to go and what lane to get into.
As believers in Jesus Christ, you and I can walk in and release a supernatural, prophetic river of life (see John 7:38). It is already flowing through us. The reality of the new creation is this: When a person is born again, the Spirit of Jesus comes and takes up residence inside.
Do you have a dream you believe is from the Lord that has yet to come to pass? Perhaps you have even lost hope that it will ever happen. The process involved in dream fulfillment can cause even the stoutest of souls to lose heart at times. But make no mistake, the process begins and ends with God.
When the storms of life come, there is nothing more important than what we truly believe. It is one thing to accept a propositional truth in our minds. It is quite another to live from that place when trials and difficulties test the bedrock of those beliefs. These are our true core values.
Do you want to pray a perfect prayer that the Father cannot refuse? Pray the Word of God. I asked Cindy Jacobs, Patricia King, Stacey Campbell, Lou Engle, Mickey Robinson and Beth Alves which scriptures they pray regularly, and they served up a gold mine that I couldn’t help but pass on to you.
We are blessed to be a blessing! We are to proclaim blessings over our families, churches, cities and nations. Some of you may say, “My parents never spoke words of blessing to me. Nobody has ever given me any prophetic words. I don’t know what my blessings are.” Be encouraged. Below I show you seven powerful and obtainable blessings that each one of us can receive from our Heavenly Father.
As light and darkness continue to polarize and grow into maturity in the world around us, it is imperative that we learn to discern the spiritual source of the inputs to which we are daily being exposed. This is actually one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit – and we can become more accurate in this gift through practice and fully submitting our bodies with its five senses to God.
What is the prayer of agreement? It is more than simply clasping hands and saying, “Brother, let’s agree on this together.” The prayer of agreement is more than what we simply verbalize. It has to do with our heart’s attitude. We must first agree with God, and his command to love one another.
It is imperative that we stand with God, and stand with the Jewish people in this hour. Not only does scripture provide 7 Clear Demarcations and Declarations regarding Israel and His plan for salvation which I outline below, it also shows us how we are to respond in Proclamation, Praise and Prayer!
While we agree that the canon of scripture is closed, we believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did before He continues to do. One of these ongoing activities is that of “communication.” The Holy Spirit wants to speak to each of us personally.
We have now entered into the Hebrew New Year of 5776! The Ten Days of Awe is a time when many prophetic believers receive revelation for the new year. Below I highlight some of the things the Lord has been speaking to me – including the coming harvest, increased hunger for the Word, dreams fulfilled, and harvesters released.
Thus has the Lord of hosts spoken: Execute true judgement and show mercy and kindness and tender compassion, every man to his brother. And oppress not the widow or the fatherless, the temporary resident or the poor, and let none of you devise or imagine, or think evil against his brother in your heart (Zechariah 7:9-10).
Dreams have had a profound role in the Christian church since it’s beginning. Last month I explained how understanding dreams is rooted in Hebraic history, and today I’m going to expand on that to show the rich heritage of dream language and revelation bequeathed to the Christian church throughout its history.
If you missed Part 1 of the teaching on Praying from a Victorious Perspective, click here to read the article. This topic continues to rest upon my heart and soul and I continue to give it much prayerful thought. So hold on to your seat as I unpack another layer of my musings.
Most Christians today are virtually ignorant of the rich heritage of dream language and revelation bequeathed to them by the church throughout its history. Actually, this legacy is older than the church. Christian dream language, like the church itself, has its roots in ancient Judaism. With such a long history, why is this important dimension of Christian experience either unknown or dismissed by so many believers?
While there is great diversity among the angelic host, each category of angels has a specific assignment and distinct attributes. But there are three primary functions listed in the scriptures concerning all the angelic hosts.
God desires that everyone comes to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). So let’s look at 12 powerful principles that will help you continue to grow in the spirit of revelation (Ephesians 1:17-19) as a prophetic lifestyle.
There are seven statements of Jesus on the cross. Perhaps the most important one of all is when He declared, “It is finished!” (John 19:30) Nothing else needed to be done because He had done it all. The work of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ is perfectly complete!
Fatherhood determines identity and identity and releases security. Security produces a culture where it is safe to be unique, an environment where dreaming is the norm, and an expectation that dreams really do come true!
One of the first great intercessors in the Bible was Abraham, and his most famous intercessory prayer was for one of the most sinful places in the ancient world! Sodom and Gomorrah have become synonymous with sin, sexual debauchery, and sodomy, yet the great Patriarch of Israel, the “father of faith,” interceded passionately that those twin cities of sin be spared!
The Jesus People Movement was a wave of Christianity that began on the West Coast of the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s and spread primarily through North America and Europe, before subsiding by the early 1980s. It was the major evangelical Christian element within the hippie counterculture, or, conversely, the major hippie element within some strands of Protestantism.
If the Church hopes to be relevant and meet the needs of the twenty-first century and beyond, it must be willing to undergo a paradigm shift. The Elijah to Elisha Revolution confronts the status quo by challenging the Church to reexamine many of its assumptions.
This article was composed by Jon Hamill from a recorded teleconference call on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 between he and James Goll. In this call, James prophesied regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to a joint session of Congress, which took place yesterday, March 3rd, 2015 (almost a week later).
I sense the intense desire of the Holy Spirit to take a whiskbroom and dust off some of The Lost Treasures of the Body of Christ and present them as brilliant gems to gaze upon. Like a spiritual archaeologist or perhaps something like a modern day “Indiana Jones” of the fabled movies, let’s search thru the treasure chest of God and church history and bring these jewels to the forefront once again.
Are there any absolutes? Any standards or parts of the moral code that do not change? Most of the world seems to think that we are becoming more enlightened as time goes on, and that this means we must leave old standards behind. In the Western world, “inclusiveness” reigns supreme.
The Lord is truly revealing fresh insights into these ancient truths. As you know, books have often been my mentors in my journey in live and ministry. The following is a combination of gleanings of years of research and time just spent with the Father.
“I have heard you,” replied Jeremiah the prophet. “I will certainly pray to the Lord your God as you have requested; I will tell you everything the Lord says and will keep nothing back from you.” (Jer. 42:4 NIV)
Over the years you will find that the Holy Spirit emphasizes different themes of God’s Word to us. Over the past few decades one of the truths being restored to the body of Christ, has been the “word of faith”. In recent years, the Holy Spirit has been highlighting the message of “hope”.
This article is an updated excerpt of “Chapter 8 – Israel God’s Prophetic Calendar”, from the book The Prophetic Intercessor.
Although Israel as we know her today is only a little more than sixty five years old, the Jewish nation is actually one of the oldest on earth.
For more than a decade I have been declaring in many gatherings in many cities of the earth: “While all eyes would be on Iran, watch Syria. Iran will pose a great threat, but the imminent danger to Israel, and the entire Middle East would arise out of Syria.” I have warned of chemical and biological weapons being stored up in this rogue nation and how they would attempt to export them to their puppet regime of Lebanon.
Recently, I released Four Strategic Turning Points I have perceived. This is now Part Two bringing you an additional “Four More” Strategic Turning Points.
There are diverse views on the End Times, including at least 3 different historical theological views concerning eschatology.
When God hears prayers from His people, He responds. What happens is that He dispatches His angels before, during, and after our prayers.
The following article is an excerpt from chapter six of Prayer Storm. Other materials to build on your understanding come from The Lost Art of Practicing His Presence Book and Consecrated, Contemplative Prayer Study Guide.
I would love for it to be said of me that I was “like Anna,” (Luke 2:36-38) someone who focused on nothing and nobody except Jesus.
“The great serpent has coiled himself around the globe, and who shall set the world free from him?” This was the message from the “prince of preachers,” Charles Spurgeon.
We need to be anchored by the Word of God! In today’s increase of supernatural activity, we need to make sure our foundation is sure and that the plumb line of God’s Word is our standard.
Then it will happen on that day that the Lord will again recover
the second time with His hand the remnant of His people,
who will remain, from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath
and from the islands of the sea.
Isaiah 11:11
