The Importance of Gates
We will be looking at the subject of opening the gates in the realm of the spirit. In the natural, gates are used for two primary purposes:
This is a collection of over 400 articles written by James W. Goll from 2004 to 2023.
We will be looking at the subject of opening the gates in the realm of the spirit. In the natural, gates are used for two primary purposes:
The prophet Isaiah discovered for himself the transforming nature of the Lord’s fire. Here is his description of the divine “close encounter” that changed him forever:
Many have proclaimed this New Hebrew Year, 5774, as a “Year of the Open Door”.
Michal Ann Goll was a gentle fierce warrior for the Lord Jesus Christ growing up in rural MO with 3 older brothers and parents who loved God and worked hard. Her Bible was her best friend in growing up as she never missed a day devotionally reading the truths of God’s word.
LIVING IN THE UNTIL CLAUSE
Sometimes we all wonder, “Why does there seem to be a delay to answered prayers?” or “When is that prophetic promise ever going to come to pass?”
THE BACKGROUND
In July 2012, I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit that I have previously released called Come Again Holy Spirit.
Some years ago I was traveling through the night by train from the Frankfurt, Germany region to Rossenheim in southern Bavaria. I was in one of the sleeping cars but, unable to sleep, I spent much of my time praying in the Spirit.
Unless otherwise stated, all scripture references are from the New American Standard Bible.
Faith Defined
Faith is a constant, abiding trust in something.
Old Testament Type
Hebrews 9: 6-14
The High Priest went into the Holy of Holies only once a year and that was with the blood of the sacrifice on the Day of Atonement. There is no access into the presence of God without the shedding of sacrificial blood.
Each of us has our own personal, unique spiritual alphabet that the Holy Spirit uses to communicate with us.
FIVE INGREDIENTS OF THE CONTEMPLATIVE – MEDITATIVE STATE
Theme Verse: Revelation 1:6
He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father – to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Needed: Ministry at the Altar of Incense
PRIMARY VERSE:
II Timothy 4:6-8 – For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day; and not only to me on that day; but also all who have loved His appearing.
One of the most consistent ways the Lord speaks to me is through the avenue of dreams. Many of my writing and speaking assignments are given to me in such a manner.
Family Background
For years, I have wanted to share some of our family’s personal pilgrimage as it pertained to raising children in a highly prophetic culture and attempting to be naturally supernatural.
Do you need help retaining what you have already received? Then I have a simple remedy for you—journal! Yes, it is one of those awesome spiritual disciplines!
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
Each year, as we have since 1999, the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders meets before the New Year to pray and seek the Lord for a word.
This festival in the Jewish calendar lasts eight days and falls during the month of December. It is called the Feast of Dedication or sometimes referred to as the Festival of Lights. It started over 2,300 years ago in the land of Judea in the heart of modern day Israel.
What Is the Song of the Lord?
In a general sense, all worship sung to music is the song of the Lord.
Two weeks ago, pivotal national elections were held in the United States which will have major long term affects. The nation is extremely divided at this crucial juncture being polarized on every major moral issue, foreign policy, and ideologies of economic reform.
For over a decade, I have been declaring in many gatherings in many cities of the earth: “While all eyes would be on Iran, to watch Syria. Iran will pose a great threat, but the imminent danger to Israel’s security would arise out of Syria.”
In early 2008, when the U. S. Presidential primaries were in full swing, I was given a visitation from the Lord. It was one I did not fully understand at the time.
For a few years, I have been meditating on the principles of “Catching and surviving every wave of the Holy Spirit” while yet staying grounded in the main and the plain of the doctrines of the historical church.
Before I was ever a preacher, author, or prophetic voice in the nations, I was first a singer and a worshiper. It seems that I was always a “priest to the Lord” first and a “prophet to the people” second.
One of the most consistent ways the Lord speaks to me is through the avenue of dreams.
Faith is a constant, abiding trust in something. In Hebrews 6:1-3, it is called faith towards God, not faith in feelings, circumstances, or even people.
From time to time, I bring you a prayer alert from some of my friends and respected peers.
Jesus prophesied, “I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (John 14:12). I call this “doing the double,” and I believe that you and I are part of a generation that has been called to do these “greater works.”
Pray for and take a stand for Israel because Israel is still very close to God’s heart. I have already shared Zechariah 2:8, which says, “He who touches you [Israel], touches the apple of His eye.” Centuries before Zechariah prophesied these words, Moses wrote a song containing a very similar picture:
There are times that hit us all when we are “up against the wall”. What are you going to do when it seems like all else has failed? Why, it is time to PRAISE THE LORD! Yes, let the sacrifice of praise be heard from your lips even if you feel like you are living in the midst of barren straits!
Primary Text – Exodus 33: 13-23
Ex 33:13-23 – If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.” The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
As we have crossed the threshold of a new era in the Lord, there will be a lot of shifting taking place in the church and the world.
“I will restore the ancient tool, the Watch of the Lord, that has been used and will be used again to change the expression of Christianity across the face of the earth.”

Scriptures on Holy Laughter
This week, on Friday, April 6th, 2012, the Feast of Passover begins at sundown. I am grateful for all the traditional Seders that are being held as believers from across the nations celebrate the biblical Jewish roots of our Christian faith.
Introduction – First Prophetic Word
The very first prophetic word I ever heard was one that came out of my own mouth.
I believe it is the Year of the Word of the God and God of the Word! It is a time when the office of the teacher (Ephesians 4:11) or the teaching gift of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:7) will be re-emphasized in the body of Christ.
Theme verse: I Corinthians 13:13a (NASB)
“But now faith, hope and love abides these three;”
I Samuel 4:5-8a describes the reaction of the Israelites and the Philistines as the “Ark of God” was carried into the camp.
