As we have crossed the threshold of a new era in the Lord, there will be a lot of shifting taking place in the church and the world.
“I will restore the ancient tool, the Watch of the Lord, that has been used and will be used again to change the expression of Christianity across the face of the earth.”

Introduction – First Prophetic Word
The very first prophetic word I ever heard was one that came out of my own mouth.
I believe it is the Year of the Word of the God and God of the Word! It is a time when the office of the teacher (Ephesians 4:11) or the teaching gift of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:7) will be re-emphasized in the body of Christ.

“But now faith, hope and love abides these three;”
I Samuel 4:5-8a describes the reaction of the Israelites and the Philistines as the “Ark of God” was carried into the camp.

In the book, The Call of the Elijah Revolution, which I co-authored with Lou Engle, I speak of three stages and types of the overall awakening.
One of the first great intercessors in the Bible was Abraham, and his most famous intercessory prayer was for one of the most sinful places in the ancient world!
“I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

A few years ago, the Holy Spirit shared a thought with me that I have not been able to shake.

but do not know where it comes from and where it is going;
so is everyone who is born of the Spirit”. John 3:8
